I have a decent Shure mic hooked up to my Mac via a Lexicon Alpha device. I've set up the Aggregate Device via the Audio/MIDI Setup and the whole thing works fine with Logic Pro, but what I'd REALLY like to do is get that same setup working through Pd.
I have the [adc~] hooked up to a simple distortion patch, and from there it works just fine with the built-in mic, but I can't for the life of me get it working with my good mic.
Help?
My plan is to write a patch that'll distort and effect an English Horn solo in real time. Hopefully once I get this technical issue out of the way it'll be smooth-ish sailing the rest of the way.
Thanks!

ah-ha!! I didn't realize that Pd totally ignores the OS X audio settings! Wonderful, it's working for me now. Thanks a bunch to everyone who helped!

I'm pretty sure I'm setting it correctly. I have the device set as the main audio in, so wouldn't that be just the default input of 1 & 2? I'll do some more messing with it when I get home tonight.

and I have, but it's still only accepting sound from the built-in mic. I'm pretty sure I set up the Aggregate Device correctly… I mean… it works in Logic…
Might it have to do with the [adc~ ] object? Or somethin' else? I'm quite new at this whole "Pd" thing, thanks for your patience.
