In OS X 10.3 installed on a powerbook.

"realtime setting failed because not root?"

This comes up... should I worry about it... is there anything I can do about it?

This should make it a little easier for some people to play with PD. It will be interesting to see were this effort goes.

Had pd/gem rudding for a bit but I did not have time to work with it. Then ran it one day recently and it would quit. I feebly removed directories labled pd and/or gem and tried to re-install again. It still does not run properly. Perhaps it's time for a complete re-install of the entire system agin.
