I was going to post this in the GEM forum, but I am not sure that it a GEM issue that I am dealing with.

I had been running PD 0.38.4 Extended and everything was gravy. But I recently got 0.39.3 and now my patches that run GEM with pix_film have no sound from the video files. Other basic PD patches (like basic OSC~ patches) produce sound no problem.

I tried using GEM 0.90 instead of the included 0.91 (which is the version that I had been using before, and everything worked fine) but that didn't fix the issue (which makes me think that it is not a specific GEM issue). I was also able to replicate the issue on my other box. Even loading the vanilla 0.40.3 with GEM 0.90 was a no go.

Both boxes are running OS X 10.4.10, with my main one being a dual core Intel, and the other a PPC.

Any thoughts?
