    Hello,

I have updated my linux distro today (Mandriva 2009 to 2009.1). Now it uses TCL/TK8.6 instead of 8.5 in the previous release. Pure Data doesn't want to compile or run anymore and it's very sad since I need it for my works.

I've found this bug report on sourcefourge but I don't know what to do with the patch provided.

Thank you in advance for all the help you can bring !

PS : I'm trying to use / compile vanilla 0.42-4

    Hello,
Thank you. I asked because I can't use Pure Data at the moment, after a linux distro update. Being unable to test the patch, I can't guess what it is capable of.

    Hello,
I've compiled Tcl/Tk8.5 from source, using --prefix=/usr, it worked fine, but when I tried to compile Pure Data, Tcl/Tk is still not found.
Is there some trick to make the pd's ./configure script find Tcl/Tk 8.5, or a way to declare Tcl/Tk 8.5 path as default set to use by system ?

    Thank you in advance.
