Hi all,
After struggling for a while with similar issues (sudo apt-get install -f removing pd-l2ork, etc) I finally got pd-l2ork working. I started again with a fresh Ubuntu 14.04 install (it was force majeure actually, I found out what happens when you use sudo with no idea of what you are doing).I executed the commands to get all the necessary dev libraries found on the pd-l2ork install page (it's a long string of library names, and took a while to download and unpack) BEFORE installing the deb package from the Terminal.
It still didn't worked so I typed sudo apt-get install -f et voilá, il a arreté!
Basically I properly followed the instructions. I hope it helps someone.Cheers

The GEM tutorials I was checking out come with Pd, they are located in doc/manuals/2.Image/
I found out what it was, there's a sub-patch I missed with the mouse rotation functions. I made mine work by moving and rotating the camera object (duh). But the patch sunji posted taught me about the line object, thanks!.

Hi there, this is a rookie question, I'm sure, but I couldn't find an answer anywhere so far. I'm learning Pd, and following the manual tutorials that come with it already. The section on Pd explains the basic creation and functioning of gemwin, but in later examples it uses a subpatch to control gemwin. Now, when I try to create it myself with the basic parameters (create and render) I don't seem to have 3D capabilities, I can't rotate the camera nor see the manipulators. I took a look to the subpatch the examples uses to create gemwin, but I can't find what's the parameter it's using to create it as a 3D space. What am I missing? Thanks for your help!
