dear all,

i am a novice to pure data and to programming. I use windows XP sp3. I have installed the pure data extended 0.42.5.

I would like to install the button bar that is provided at this link
http://puredata.info/community/projects/software/buttonbar

this will make my life a lot less easier. but my problem is that this page gives no idea of what i need to do to make this work. on download i get a buttonbar-plugin.tcl file. i dont know what a .tcl file is. i have also looked at another page

this page too does not give me any idea of what i need to do.

would it be possible for any of you to kindly tell me step by step what i can do to get the button bar to function in pure data or is it possible to release a trial version for 'windows' with the button bar already present.

i will be very grateful to you for any help/ advice,

when i run the pd 0.43 build 26 feb, i get the following response in the main pd window... and ofcourse no button bar. i also have the pd extended 0.42.5 version installed

but, could i use this plugin (buttonbar-plugin.tcl) with the nightly build of .43, if so, what do i need to do to enable the button bar in the build.

i could use the exe from the link

had installed the nightly build before, but i did not see the the button bar or the difference in the edit modes..
