Hi, I'm using ubuntu 16.04 amd64 with Pd 0.46.7, I've installed Zexy library from repositories, from Deken, compiled my self, download builds for other OS and I've couldn't find msgfile.pd on any of them. I only can find msgfile-help.pd. Can anyone point me to the right direction here, because it seems nobody is complaining about. Was working for me before with pd-extended. Thank you very much...

Hi I'm using bodhi linux ubuntu 14.04, low latency kernels, kx studio plug ins and ladish utilities on an AMDx2 3.0gz 3gb RAM and NVIDIA 304.117 drivers.

I'm working with pd-extended 0.43.4-1 on a pure midi-controlling and sequencer patch, the only audio processing done by pd is some audio samples using readsf~. Everything was working perfect and fast, GUI, samples, midi controlling, sequencers with pd version 0.43.1 until I update my system to pd 0.43.4-1 and now everything is slow, NumberBox, sliders, knobs. My patch is purely graphic and midi oriented. Is there a way to do it faster again?. Or I have to go back to pd 0.42.5? Thank you very much...

Hi, I'm working with Pd-extended 0.42.5 on linux ubuntu 12.04 and I can not send custom sysex messages (just start and stop are recognised) if there's more than one midiout on the system.

    I use a Roland Mc-505 on Midiout 1, a Korg Tr-61 on Midiout 2, a Boss Sp-505 on Midiout 3 and a M-audio Venom on Midiout 4

I tried just with one midiout and it works fine sending any kind of sysex message..

    Anyone trying the same??

    Thanks

PS, I tried using another instance of pd but I need five (one for each out + main patch) at the same time and it seems a little impractical...

    Hi!,

Yes, My screen 1900x1080 is full of sliders, numbers, knobs, radios, bangs, etc. I was working on this patch for one year and everything was working perfect, really fast. One day I updated the system and after that all numbers and controls where incredible slow... I heard they changed PD, splitting the sound processor from the GUI, doing them two different process....

Do I have any chance to go out of this problem? Maybe compile pd-extended with a different toolkit? or maybe do another GUI with python and QT or GTK? What are my options? Thank you very much...

I've checked processor load and when I hit the play button, Xorg goes up to 65% and when I stop the sequencer it comes down to 6-8%. Any Idea?
