Total noob to Pd and here to find solutions to get MRMR to send message to Resolume via some kind of patch with Pd.

I think it is a matter of changing the message out of MRMR to a message address that Resolume accepts.

How to go about it with Pd is something I need and don't know how to. I know it is possible, as I see there are patches for OSC to midi. I have tried it OSC to Midi but I want OSC to OSC.

Could someone create a patch for me? I would trully appreciate it.

I don't have the skills to learn and develop at the same time. I am one of those guys that learn faster if I have a working product I can try and understand each module, than trying to build something I have no clue in how it works.

Maybe a simple MRMR osc message parsed to Resolume OSC address would be very useful.

    Thanks

Weng thanks once again for your help.

It may of been easier if I knew the basics, but I accelerate at learning with real working examples.

Your samples got me going indeed and I got a simple message to work with Resolume.

Now I need more tips to make it more efficient and deal with different arrays of message.

Here is a sample to make MRMR to change the scale value in Resolume. It is not final and is subjective to changes.

Thanks Weng for your help. I still cannot make the connection.

I have been able to append the message to look like what Resolume accepts, however I am stuck because I don't know what else I need to add to make it send to my localhost. The print object make it appear in the terminal window.

Now I need it to connect to resolume. The message is okay but I tried to monitor the OSC signal but I know that my patch is incomplete. I also tried using udpsend and/or sendOSC with no success.

The attached patch is incomplete I tried to make sense out of sendOSC but at the moment it appears abit alien like language.

Could you help me once again with further breakdown explanation to get my OSC message sent.

Thanks again for your efforts. I can say that I am getting closer I guess making an ipod touch closer to your doorstep. :]

Thank you for your reply. I do somewhat understand what you are talking about the Sendosc object. I appreciate your comments and I am gonna take your advice about "Learning PD".

I have discovered a topic posted by nestor titled MRMR- Oscemote

I think this is what I am looking for but I need someone to implement this external into a completed patch and I can begin to learn how it operates.

Helpful guys like you could help me with the breakdown explanation of each objects.

I know learning the basics is something I will accomplish, but at the rate I am learning Pd, I think I'll get burned out before I reach my goal of building a patch for MRMR osc message to Resolume osc message.

This is an example of a patch I need :
    "/mrmr/slider/1/name_of_your_remote_device 0-1000"(MRMR) prepended to "/composition/video/scale/values ff "(Resolume)

just changing the osc message of MRMR to what Resolume accepts.

It should be easy for all those meritorious PD programmers.

    Thanks again for your help.
