I'm Florent de Lamotte and I'm new to the PD community. I plan on using PD instead of LabView for teaching in engineering courses ...

I've just wrote an extend for using LabJack (http://labjack.com) within Pd (see attached file).

There are still some work to do but you can use analog input and outputs in command/reply mode and read the four digital inputs. Note that only one Labjack U12 is supported for now.

yes, you can read analogue inputs in realtime in puredata

It only works with the U12 for now, the newer labjacks have another API and are not compatible

As for max msp, no it won't work with it ...
