ok thanks for the reply.
Thanks alexandros for the tip. Got it working now.
I understand that the maxmsp object gate is called spigot in pd. Am i seeing right that spigot only gets a 1 or 0 for the gate values? How do I make like in maxmsp gate 2 or gate 3?
Thanks for the info on Mobmuplat. I didn't know about this or missed it on the website. It's a pity but well I guess almost everything is possible with a little bit of maths or logic.
Hmm now after fiddling around with pd-extended and with the vanila version, pd can't seem to load bonk and fiddle extensions. I've already deleted and reinstall the newest pd version and it still doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?

Hi there,
ok I would like to know how do i scale a range of values,
say - 1 knob will have a range from 0 100 but another knob with 4 steps will select the range of the value of the first knob. knobB 1 knobA 100 200, knobB 2 knobA 200 300.
Any way I cna do that in pd?

hi there,
I'm a newbie in puredata but I good with Maxmsp. So simple questions first,
how do I add externals to Puredata? I would like to buiid a simple patch with a scale or range object. I'm using the Vanilla version of Puredata because I would like to work with MobMuPlat as a controller. I can't seem to find this object but only on older extended versions of puredata but I cna't do the netreceive with MobMuPlat. Hope I'm not too confusing.Basically I need to use range or scale object. where can i get it and how do i get these working in Puredata?
thanks
