    Hello everyone,
im very new to this and im sure u can understand its all a bit... confusing!
What I am trying to do is to create a realtime input that actually encodes the human voice and then outputs it.

I tried the {adc~} {dac~} thing but it distorts the voice and comes out as noise. I tried delaying it, amplifying it, adding effects etc etc but its not working.

is there a certain object i should use?
or maybe an external microphone? (im currently using the macbook's mics)

    help!

    Hello
I'm trying to put noise (white noise) or different synthesis stuff on my patch but I cant work it out. I am working with real time, not recordings.
    can anyone help me?

p.s. I 'm really new to all this so excuse my terminology!

Thank you very much. That was very helpful.
Do you know how can I find out what exactly do the inlets/outlets do for each object?
    thanx again.
