but after some days trying to get a working solution I have to ask the experts.

I use Linux Mint Debian edition and with synaptic I found PD 0.43.2-4 and a lot of pd-x extensions. After my decision to switch from Supercollider to PD I wanted to install the newest version 43.4 and the pd-extended version. That's when I called for troubles.

I tried all repositories apt.puredata.xxx which were indicated on the Ubuntu / Debian helpfiles on this server. I tried also the various Mint version respositories, but from all I got the hint that parts of the files for the extended versions were missing. Also there was no update from the basic / common version within synaptic from 43.2 to 43.4.

Then I tried to install the sourcecode and the Debian version but I must confess, that I am not a Linux wizzard. I know how to find my way around, but did not succeed in installing the package due to the multitude of files or lack of a *.deb version which could be installed with the GDEBI-Packet-Installation...

Any hints how to tackle my problem?

Hello,

today the apt.puredata.xxx debian testing worked. I could install the pd-extended although the core system is still 43.2-4.

I guess I need more patience.
