    Hi,

Has anyone experienced this problem before,

I open Osculator on my Intel Mac Book, i connect my wiimote, I open up pd and create a dumpOSC 8000 object, and i get the message

    "dumpOSC 8000 cannot create"

now my oscx library is definitely working because if I create a dumpOSC 8001 object it creates fine..

so I tried opening pd first creating the dumpOSC object then opening osculator and osculator wont let me connect the wiimote and it says error: port 8000 already in use...

I am finding this is really strange because this worked on the same machine about a year ago, so i am guessing that one of the operating system updates is blocking this action, but i am not sure,

    has anyone any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance,

    Dave

    Hi,

I just installed Pure Data on my intel MacBook, i made sure i got the extended version which i thought would have the osc library already bundled, but when i open PD and create a [dumpOSC 8000] object i get a dotted red line around the object and the status window says 'couldn't create'

i can get this working on my PC but i need to get it working on the mac aswel...

    can anyone help me?

    thanks in advance

    Hello

ive seemed to get stuck tryin to get this patch to work.. its probably easy to fix but i dont seen to have the know how..

basically i want to browse through a series of gem objects... just that i can only get them to display using a toggle box which seem be good at turning them on but not so much turning the old one off...

in short i just want one graphic to be displayed as you browse through the radio button at the top

    hey guys,

I will be playing pd live tomorrow and i was going to hook a wii controller (which i have already connected to PD) into a really simple but cool sounding synth patch. Problem is i cant seem to find something suitable... the synth will be apart of an electronic band performance.. so something technoish

can anyone recomend any good synth patches that might suit my needs?

Thanks for your help in advance.

    Hello all,

I have seemed to run into a small control problem with pd's sending and receiving objects....

I have included the patch with an explanation of what i cant seem to accomplish, basically i have made a patch that uses the left, right up and down to navigate through 3 librarys of samples. the idea been that you pick a beat by hitting left and right then hit up to start using left and right to browse through some synths....

problem is that i cant get left and right to stop navigating through the beats....

sorry i find it hard to explain these things, have a look at the patch attached it might become clearer

any help or comments welcome thanks in advance

    Hello

Every time i try to use OSCroute in PD (Current Windows Version) it tells me OSCroute can't create library. Does any one know how to fix this or where i might find an OSCroute.dll file?

    Any suggestions welcome.

    Hi all,

I am sort of new to Pd but have been trying really hard to master it for the last few months. I am an Interaction Design Student and am basing my final year project on controlling audio and video via a Wii Remote. The goal is that the final controller would look like a glow stick and would behave like a VJ system...

(Perhaps i am been a bit ambitious with this project)

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

I will be really grateful for any suggestions and or advice I have a feeling that someone might have done something similar which would be a huge help...

I will share my final project online when it is finished.

    Thanks
