I want to create a patch with a canvas in graph on parent. But when I use that patch in another patch more than once, all of the canvas's change together, because I had to send the information to the canvas, and they all have the same receive name.

Is there a way to address a canvas using a cable, so that when I use more than one, they change independently? I hope I am being clear, this is tough to describe.

Is there a command to change the left and right bounds on sliders without right clicking and changing it manually? I'm looking for something similar to how (array1 resize 200) message works for arrays.

Why won't this list change work?

I am aware this is probably a very simple mistake. I don't think I understand how lists work fully.

I am still having trouble even after looking at that example. I want to make a custom toggle that changes colors when it's on or off. When I make more than one of these toggles, they all change color together. When I try to put $0-receive into the canvas receive and a [$0-receive color 15( message in the patch, I get the error "0-receive no such object." What am I doing wrong?

It's nice to not hear, "Google it, you idiot," as I tried, and it's tough to find info. Thanks Maelstorm, for helping a noob.

    Thanks ktsouk.
Also, I was wondering if a good thorough list of all of pd's objects and their functions for quick reference exists anywhere on the internet? So I don't have to ask anymore basic questions like this.

The numbers I put in for the picture aren't right. I'm aware of that stuff. If the right numbers were in (I have them calculated already), why wouldn't this work?
