    Hello,

I am quite new to pd, and having several problems,
probably very frequent 'noob' questions, but couldn't really find it while searching
    the forum..

I need to load 40 pictures, what i need is to load a picture when you press 'q' and another when you press 'w' etc. to 40 buttons on my keyboard.
Now I already get the whole key assigning which is no problem, but i can't seem to get the directory right, where do i put these images and let them load? in the gem pix examples in the help browser there is one showing how to load 3 different pictures, which is exactly what i need, but how do i change the directory to my picts in a patch like this?
also, it loads all of the pictures upside down....

i realize i might be missing some serious basics, so, sorry bout that.

    thank you in advance tough!

Sorry, for late reply my internet is out.
Some things are working out. some not.
The fullscreen option in gem is something i still can't get to work.
In max there is the option close to the patch but how do i get fullscreen in pd?

Also, i can load perfect resolution pics, but what i need is a contactsheet of a lot of pics ( a really big pic with lots of pics, but still in a good resolution). but when the marges are bigger then the pic i load in gem it gives an error.
How do i set these marges?

Except for these things i can work with attaching buttons to a coordinate on the 2d contactsheet to 'go there' all i need now is the things above and a way to move around and 'fly' above a 2d pic controlled by my arrow buttons i can't seem to find a tutorial that explains this.... maybe with floats rerouted and then stack up numbers to control a slider??

I hope you guys can help me.. I feel pretty incapable.

    Thanks for the help!!
