Hi to everyone

so, I'm dealing with some multiplatform Pure Data patches and I came to the point where I need to list all the audio files in a directory.

I'm using [folder_list] to retrieve the full files-in-directory listing (that include absolute paths).
The problem is that [folder_list] uses different wildcards depending on the underlying OS. I've already sorted out what wildcards to use on each OS (Win, Linux, OSX)

Now, what seems missing to me is an abstraction able to detect the OS on which PD is running... any hints?
