    How I'm using it:

    Android -> Control -> Pd -> MIDI Yoke 1 -> FL Studio

Control and Pure Data seem to be working fine, as I can see data when using "print." The problem I'm having is FL Studio not recognizing the MIDI data correctly. It does "recognize" it, but not like it should.

Under the "debug" section in FL Studio's settings, the output looks like this:

    (generic controller): 90 00 00 Note On : C0
    Handled (first chance) Absolute 0%
    (generic controller): 90 00 00 Note On : C0
    Handled (first chance) Absolute 0%
    (generic controller): 90 00 00 Note On : C0
    Handled (first chance) Absolute 0%
    (generic controller): 90 00 00 Note On : C0
    Handled (first chance) Absolute 0%
    (generic controller): 90 00 00 Note On : C0
    Handled (first chance) Absolute 0%
    (generic controller): 90 00 00 Note On : C0
    Handled (first chance) Absolute 0%
    (generic controller): 90 00 00 Note On : C0
    Handled (first chance) Absolute 0%
    ...
    ...
    ...
    ...

The data above is what's displayed when using the first fader (or any control for that matter) in the "Mixer - Landscape" interface.

    I've tried

    ctlout

but FL Studio considers that as "unhandled MIDI activity" (indicated by a green light.)

    Using

    noteout

FL Studio recognizes that as normal MIDI data (indicated by an orange light.)

FWIW, here's what FL Studio's manual says about MIDI activity:

Orange - MIDI input handled. Input was received and was assigned to a Project-level link target.
Blue - MIDI input received and was assigned to a Generic-level link target.
Green - MIDI input unhandled. MIDI input received but was not used by anything (the futility!).
Grey - No MIDI input detected.
