How to load and run a patch in command line :

pd -oss mypatch.pd
works fine, but doesn't 'run' the patch.
I have to go for 'audio on'.

Who of you have an idea of speeding up the booting process ??

Pc+freebsd+arduino ?
Win2K + arduino ?
Tiny linux systems ?
Embeded systems (but what about the interfacing with arduino) ?
...
Any idea ?

Is the NSLU2 enough for realtime sequencer or sampling ?
Do you have any latancy problem with it ?
