Hello,
I am at the beginning stages of a project in which I will be trying to make a hearing aid application for Android.
I wanted to see if I could get a basic microphone patch written in pure data on a phone to see if the latency was any better than standard Android. I came across Droid Party which I hope would streamline this process, but the application is unable to even find the samples given at the Droid Party. It doesn't work on a Google Nexus or a Galaxy S3 so I think I made a mistake somewhere.
I followed this the best I could: http://forum.pdpatchrepo.info/topic/5496/running-your-patches-on-android-usind-pddroidparty-in-10-steps
What I did:
-Downloaded the apk and put it in a folder. Place the folder on my the SD card and ran it. (I changed the security option already)--
-Downloaded the zip folder attached to the post and unzipped it. I made a new folder on the SD card called Xy_Pad and put its contents in that folder.
-I also put the demo zip folder provided by the droid party site in the root SD card directory.
-I restarted my phones.
The app still says "PdDroidParty compatible patches found:" and nothing else. The 'right click' button on the phones doesn't do anything.
Any idea of what I am doing wrong, or any other alternatives?
Thanks.
