You know...you save your patch every 30 minutes, or at key stages. However, at a certain moment, you are making that extra connection, to see if it works, and...it crashes. Then, Pd kindly tells you that it will have to close itself.
What to do? You could, of course, accept this crash situation, and let Pd close itself, then open Pd again, and rebuild your last programming (as well as you can). But, is there something else you can do? Here, I present 2 simple plans, in no special order:

Take a PHOTO of your screen (but, previously, move Pd's kind window to the side).

Make a SCREEN CAPTURE (but, previously, move Pd's kind window to the side). Screen capture software is commonly available, only make sure it is a small and responsive program. (For Windows users, the "Impr pant PetSis" key makes a screen capture that you can paste in Paint).
