So I could not resist and I decided to install Pd-l2Ork (I had to remove my pd-extended though, the .deb package was having a conflict with a file named Gem.pc. But I digress...). I am mind blown about how beautiful this distribution is! And the new features are just amazing (curved cables, new "tidy up" algorithm, bring object to front/back, infinite undos, home and end keys now do work properly when typing), this is a huge step forward in my opinion.
But here are a couple of questions about it:
- does anyone know upon which pd-extended version is the current Pd-l2Ork based on? I tried to read about it but I could not find this info on their website
- Pd-l2Ork does not seem to recognize nor execute my
*-plugin.tcl
files. Let me guess: this feature is not supported as of yet? (if so, then it's a huge pity, I became so used to thecategory_menu-plugin.tcl
) - I can't seem to add a new folder to the path. I add it, but when I restart Pd-l2Ork the folder is not on its path and the abstractions there contained cannot be loaded. How can one edit its path?
Thanks a lot!
