Extended PD provides the split object (which can look for a range of numbers) that also can be found on Max.

Do you guys know a way to recreate split on Vanilla ?

Plug the second outlet of a [moses] into the first inlet of another [moses] like this:

[moses 20]/[moses 40]
|           |      |
A           B      C

N are the values coming in. A are the values below 20. B are the values between 20 and 40. C are the values above 40.
You can chain additional [moses] objects to create more create more value ranges to look at.
