Hello,

I'm working through a couple video tutorials online. I have the following patch.

My problem is that I'm only able to play through a video once, even if I reload the video file. It makes no difference if I load a new video, it won't play at all. I can't even seem to make it play if I open a new patch and try again. I'm only able to play the video if I quit PD and try again. I'd like to put the video on a loop, but I'm stuck where I am.

Update.
If I attach a number box to [pix_film] and scroll through the frames a little bit I can press the toggle button and have the film play again. It's like it needs a little push to get started…

OK, I have no idea why [auto $1] won't work, but if I set up a [metro] on a loop it works… For now I have working solution; however, the mystery remains and any theories are welcome.
