has anyone ever attempted building a gardner reverb in puredata? I am currently comparing freeverb and the schroeder reverb but would like to give gardner a go as well: I am quite new to pure data though and am not sure how to create 'nested' filters like in the followign article:

I did one that was similar, though it was based on this: http://www.convexoptimization.com/wikimization/index.php/Dattorro_Convex_Optimization_of_a_Reverberator

This apparently originated in the Lexicon 224. The nested allpasses are pretty much exactly like the (independently discovered) Gardner ones.

I will not at all claim that my implementation is a good example to follow, but it sounds better than the Schroeder ones.
