Hi, this has got to be an easy one if not obvious, I just switched from Max, and was wondering where I can get the list of messages each object takes? There's a link on the objects help page in Max.

yeh I knew about that, but in the help window in Max it has a link to the messages you can send the object, for example you could jump to a value by sending the message "set value $1" rather than be limited to sending it integers or floats, and it would list all the different types of messages you could send the object.

i.e. different arguments for the object

meta-messages I think they're called, is there a list of them anywhere?

ah cheers I see now, some similar objects don't seem to accept them like they do in Max.
