So, I may be only one of a dozen people with this problem.
I just installed Crunchbang 11 - Waldorf on my decrepit laptop. Crunchbang (#!) is a super-bare-bones Linux distro. So far, it works great for me.
I've installed pd-extended (HOPEFULLY from the right source - I don't really understand these things) and it works fine... except for THIS:
When I open my first patch, the window it opens is too high. I can't grab the tool bar with my mouse to move it around, I often can't reach the drop-down menus (file/put/media...) because those parts are just beyond the top of the screen.
Opening later patches, they usually open other places around the screen (as is PD's wont), so those have been fine. But I can't even close that first patch until I shut down PD!
I realize this is probably more of a question for a Crunchbang forum, but no one's responded yet. So, any ideas, anybody?
Thanks!
