I've just recently started to work with Pure Data. My task is to scale numbers with the scale object. As far as I know the scale object needs a gemlist as input. Is that right? Is there any other object I can use to scale numbers?

I'm thankful for any ideas.

what sort of scaling?

i usually just use basic arithmetic objects

  [+ 0.5]

etc

it might sound confusing but the object you are looking for is [maxlib/scale]
