Gents,

I would like to send arrow key message to other program to control a slide show for example via midi. The problem I am facing is that [key] or [keyname] has only outlets, no inlets, to receive midi signals. From the other hand arrows have 0 signs, no difference if it is up or down, left or right.

Does anyone have a useful idea, how to start?

with other words, I would like to translate midi signs to arrow keys.

this little software receives midi signals and outputs key strokes to any application you want. it's osx only but for sure there are linux and win alternatives.
