I'm new to the forum. it's been a few years since I used pd extended for photographic animations. I recently installed version 0.43.4 pd extended and my Animation is not working properly.
I have this error message:
[pix_image]: failed to load image 'C :/ Documents and Settings / manu / Desktop / reading allCÌ § atoire/4.jpg'

Moreover, in another patch, osc does not work ...
I have these messages

flatspace / comport $ 1 57,600

it still work in older versions of Pd ...
I'm on windows xp 32 bit

Do you have any ideas to what it could be?

I don't know about the GEM stuff, but you'll need to stick an [import mrpeach] in the patch to get those OSC objects loading. Also, flatspace has been removed, and [comport] is now its own thing. So just call it [comport].

thank you very much. I checked for mrpeach and indeed it was not integrated. However, I wanted to incorporate the same manner as in the old version and I have not successfully installed ... I wanted to reinstall the version 0.42.5 and not on the site, can download the old version ... Do you have any ideas?

I should clarify, even though flatspace is removed, it's objects are still in Pd-extended. flatspace was just a hodge-podge of objects someone thought were useful enough to stick in there own library. But it really just created redundancy, because they are in other libs included in Pd-extended. Also, mrpeach is definitely included in Pd-extended 0.43.4.

thanks for the code up here. do you have specific tutorial for us. cause i can't really know how to make these sample codes work. new beginner on image loading. and how to load from different paths
