i'm trying to compile pd-extended from source, since theres no package for subjected system.

what's wrong? what am i neglecting?

Pd-extended doesn't use configure. Check out this page for instructions on how to get the right sources, dependencies, and running the correct makefile to build:

i found out that the beta release of pd-extended has a debian squeeze 64bit package.
