Hey guys having a problem which is driving me mad.
Im using abstractions with multiple inlets. When i save and restart the patch it has swapped them around. Really maddening! any solutions?

Pure data mixing up inlets!

That's bizarre! Can you post the parent patch and one of the abstractions here so we can take a look?
Make sure your inlets are perfectly aligned right-to-left. They should always work right if you do so. To ensure it, I always make my first [inlet], and then duplicate it (ctrl+d or cmd+d) and use shift+up once, then shift+right to move it.
maelstrom, ok i think i get you, but then if i add an inlet in between to existing ones everyting will mess up??
heres the patch..
...abstraction:
it's difficult to understand what your problem is. Can you explain a bit clearer?
i THINK what you're saying is that if you add new inlets to an abstraction, then your patch cables are not automatically re-arranged to compensate???
That is just normal PD behaviour, and in general it's best to decide how many inlets/outlets you need before you go making multiple abstractions and connecting them all up.
Oh i see, this was just my ignorance. That is all thats happening. Thanks a lot!
Oops! Looks like something went wrong!
