Hi everyone,
I'm a video artist in Mexico City and would like to commission any interested and technically able user to help me out on a video project. The gist of the project is a looping video with a specific final cut pro filter whose settings, upon each loop, should change in an aleatory way so that the video looks somewhat different each time. Please contact me so I can give you more details if this is something you could help me with. Of course you would receive due credit in the project.
Thank you,
-Jacinto

Final Cut Pro integration project

Why do you want a Final Cut filter instead of implementing a filter in GEM?
-
Probably because I have no idea what I'm doing... I'm only familiar with final cut pro and need to use this very specific filter, but maybe it can be replicated similarly enough in gem? The video I'm referring to is pasted below. I would basically like it to do what it's doing, but on an endless loop, with a random iteration of the filter settings on each loop so that the footage looks different every time:

Is this something you would be interested in collaborating on?

Yo, sorry I fell off this. I thought I was subscribed to it but apparently not.
I'd love to collaborate on this, but I'm not sure GEM smart. Also I am about to launch into production on four short films sort of all at the same time, but at the beginning of April (so a year after you asked) I'd be down to take some whacks, if you still need it. -
hey man!
so the link to the video is above, as it is. here's a link to one of the two youtube videos that i filtered for the end result:
i couldn't really find much info on GEM. I figure it's something that could be done with MAX/Jitter, but it's basically about taking that original video and feeding it through some loop, where each time the given filter would make it look different, sort of digitally emulating the random movements of the real life fabric. i like the idea of creating an endless video like that.. same source but always different...
any ideas how to pull it off? thank you!
