...you can change the background color of your patch. Black and white are the only two options for now. It should be useful for live performances, just to make it easier to your eyes. Please, let me know if it works for you.

I'm on winxp, too. And I tested it on another computer (macbook) and it seems to work fine. Please excuse me if I'm asking too basic questions, but, did you saved the abstraction in a folder which is in pd's path list? Or did you opened it like a stand-alone patch? It is supposed to work as an abstraction only, because [canvas_name 1] outputs the name of the canvas in which the abstraction is embedded in, so it will not work as a patch unless you delete that creation argument.

hm over here the help file for sys_gui dosnt work correctly... if i give it colour values in hex like discribed in there they won't work...
