I've tried to make this beat slicer (by diplipito) work as an abstraction.

I wanted to had a few features such as a mini preset system, a speed param, and make it as an abs to be able to use several in the same session.

I'm must have mix up things with the $0 notation but I can't find out what. I get some errors in the console, plus the sequencer is acting funny.

Can someone help ?

well I worked it out.

Here's a working patch. My mayn problem was that I used $0 variables in message whereas I should have banged a (f $0) in a message with $1-mymessage .

It messed up the step sequencer because it uses an init message $0-pos.
