I try to build my sampler-recorder patch...
Is it possible to "trim" audio table
in the way like resize method does but
from the beginning of the table?

one way to do this is if you use a method to manually playback from a table, a la [tabread4~] e.t.c. then instead of using a line to play from position 0 to 1000 (lets say there are a thousand values in your table)

you can trim by adding to the beginning value (which in this example was 0)

you can use a resize message. for example:

[; table_name resize 500;(

this will resize your table called "table_name" to 500 samples.

(just bang the message, it doesn't need to be sent to a particular object)

Use [arraycopy] from maxlib.

Or record with [writesf~] save audio to disk, load from disk into a table with [soundfiler] skip samples with the -skip message.

Or make a subpatch wit a [block~ 64 1 64] to run at 64 times the samplerate. Put a [tabplay~] to play your recording and a [tabwrite~] to record the new version. Use a [del] so that recording is started later than playback.
