Hi!

I'm kinda new to PD (and this forum) and I wonder how I can do the following:

I've got an input that ranges from 0 to 1. Each time it gets above 0.9 I want a certain switch to toggle, but once the value drops below 0.9 again, it should stay the way it is and not toggle back. This is sort of a logical memory unit and I don't seem to get it to work with toggle/spigot/other logical operators.

Any suggestions?

Unless I misunderstand you, that's exactly what the patch does.
It sends a bang to the toggle each time the value crosses over from < 0.9 to >= 0.9

But, what I really want it's the toggle only bang one time ever!

I have a Infra-Red Sensor connected and each time that someone cross the sensor, the toggle bang's. I don't want that happens. I want that only bang when the first person pass through the sensor..

If you are using pd-extended you can use the [once] object after [sel 1].

Otherwise, use [spigot 1] as shown in the attached patch.

Sorry but I have more two questions, if you if you don't mind..

..it's possible make it twice? (read de 1 and the 0 sign).

..and, how can I do a "reset" to the patch, for when another person cross the sensor, the toggle bang's ?

I'm not sure I understand the first question, but if you want it to toggle each time the 0.9 threshold is crossed (forward or back) just remove the [sel 1] object.

To reset the patch, send a bang to the right inlet of [once] or send a 1 to the right inlet of [spigot]
