i am new to pd, so sorry for strange questions ..
i am using ableton live for making music and i want to
let sounds pan arround a 4 speaker setup with a multichannel
soundcard.

so i would need a patch with 4 inputs (the sound is coming from ableton routed over a software like jackpilot),
and 4 outputs i suggest...

it would be great to for example pan output 2 in circles arround the 4 speakers or anything like that.

i am just trying to learn how to build a patch by myself, but if somebody allready hav done something similar, it would be great.

i think [vbap] is there for this purpose, but unfortunately there is no documentation on how to use it

your patch is great, i found it in the net somewhere before.
i will try to figure out how to make it running with 4 inputs coming
from jackpilot.
