i had the same issue, in the end i prefered to build a tiny script in php for the upload.
Anyway you could take a look to [shell], even if it looks not so stable (also it's not working on win).

In Pd there are comfortable ways to open a file with another application but i still didn't find any suitable strategy for this specific issue.

Unfortunately I am trying on win right now so the shell objet is not working. I will then communicate with Max for this simple task, but I prefer not to do so
