EDIT: Note, when you open the patch (RUMBLE_BOX.pd) there will be no sound until you assigned midi in and midi out.
the sequencer sends out midi notes to the single sound generator channels, so you have to send midi out to midi in - i did this with midi ox and midi yoke, i connected "midi yoke in 1" to "midi yoke out 1" in midi ox and assigned them as midi in/out in pd.

as i said in my first post, it spits out a lot of errors, but if you assign the midi ins/outs properly it should work though. the error message of the array i couldn't figure out yet. but works though.
note, that the sequencer on the bottom sends midi messages to the 4 channles, so you have to assign your midi outs to pd itself. i used midi yoke - see my first post.

What fun this patch is!
I'm having one problem, though: the fourth channel didn't seem to be generating sound. I'm in Linux, and used aconnectgui to connect Pd's MIDI in and out. The first three channels work and sound brilliant, but number four is silent...

oh, strange... i didn't try it on linux, since i'm mainly on win. but i'll check this out on my suse system when i'm back home.

sorry, don't get it to work on suse, because i only have vanilla on my linux system. if somebody finds a solution please post it.

EDIT: sorry for the [rumble_core] abstractions - a perfect example for unmaintainable code.....

First off, let me just say that this thing is fun as hell! It makes some cool sounds, and I like how you include some nice presets as well to show it off. Thanks!

So I did some snooping in your patch and I think I may have found the source of the errors. In the [pd I_am_the_hear_of_it_all] patch, there is a [tabread] that is not initially referencing any array, which might be the "no such array" error (not entirely sure about that one, though). As for the unstable filters, that could be because they are getting cutoff frequencies over 40000hz in combination with really high bandwidths. Those externals don't seem to like it when both inputs are super high.

I noticed the first inlet of that big [pack] from the gui is only receiving a bang, but in the rumble_core abstraction, that bang is being sent to a [t b f], which doesn't seem to make sense, so I'm wondering if that whole area is just not patched the way you intended.

the first inlet of the pack in the guis gets the values of the "hz" slider in the filter section (upper left corner in the gui) - so this should normally be ok, i think.
