well been using pd for about a month finding ok to get to grips with
although i thought it was gonna be more complicated put me off for a while
as id been using reaktor and synthedit for years

well my question is how could i scale midi cc values from
my behringer bcd3000
the bcds scratch controler sends out midi values 63 to 65 for
forward and reverse motion value 64 is the centre position

im looking to scale it to somthing like 0 to 1 or 0 to 100

ive scaled other values but cant seem to figure out
whats goin wrong with this control

as its goin to be used in my djing app id like to use these controls

Scaling it to 0-1 can be done like this:

[- 63] <-bring it down to 0-2
|
[/ 2] <-scale to 0-1
|
[outlet]

MIDI only sends out integers, so I imagine the problem is that no matter how you scale it, you're only getting three numbers? The above example will only give you 0, .5, and 1.
