Are there people in Birmingham, UK, who use Pure:Data? I run a hack space group called fizzPOP (www.fizzpop.org.uk) and I'm looking to work with others who use it in their work to get a few projects going. I've dabbled in p:d in the past, but nothing really more than making random noises with sliders!

I had a brief look and although my geography's crap I couldn't find any hackerspaces near Kent. However, you may want to attend your local Linux User Group http://kentlug.org/
Have a look at these two websites for a list of hackerspaces in England
