Just performed this last week for my senior project. There are a few issues I had maybe you guys could help me with. Visuals get laggy at times, might just be something I have to work around but maybe yall have some suggestions. Everything is done live pretty much (music is prerecorded, but arranged and effected live) Any advice for the visual or musical material?

when you say senior, you mean senior high school???

i heard that you can get better performance with audio and GEM by running the audio and GEM in different instances of pd. then communicate between them using OSC or netsend or something...

Thanks for the view man! and I am senior in college, I just started doing the visual stuff like 5 months ago. Anyway, by different instances, do you mean different windows, or can I open more than one Pd? I have never investigated that before, but the performance would be much more effective if the visuals could keep up with the music.
