I'm a newbie and found no tutorial of what I need; that's why I'm asking you now: I need to write a Pd patch which allows me to process what I play on my xylophone (input via MIC) for then outputting it through 2 speakers.:

Xylophon-->MIC-->Pd processing-->2 Speakers

If someone could provide me/tell me how to write such a patch, I could then use it as a framework and just modify its processing elements accordingly. I would appreciate your help! Thanks in advance!

ha ha, for 2 speakers, it would be:

[adc~]
|\
| \
| \
[dac~]

then you could put all sorts of processes between the [adc~] object and the [dac~] object.

eg:

[adc~]
|
[lop~ 500]
|
[*~ 10000}
|
[clip~ -1 1]
|
[hip~ 900]
|\
| \
[dac~]

that would be some heavy simple distortion with tone shaping.
