I want to trigger mp4 clips with sound. pix_film doesn't support audio, and I can't find anything else. any help would be appreciated.

it all depends how.

use [bonk~] to send bangs (the bang is sent to the play button) upon a percussive hit.

use [fiddle~] if you want different pitches to trigger different movies.

or use [env] into [> 60] (60 = threshold) for simple, when noise exceeds level, do something.

thanks, i was going to ask that too, but what i meant was really just triggering mp4 clips with their audio intact. it looks like there is a pdp object that will do it, but it's missing from my pd extended. any ideas?
