(still a nooob as always and forever, as you see~:o)

I wonder how one triggers radio buttons and bars with an external controller, or keyboard, given that there's never any inlet via which to bang 'em.

And, why's there no inlet anyway?

Thank you in advance for any help in this regard, and also for all of the ongoing education that I manage to pick up on my visits.

hi shankar,

if you create a new radio in a patch, it actually does have an inlet which you can send numbers to.

then, if you then right click on the radio and add send/receive names for it, then the inlet and outlet will disappear. however, even if the inlet/outlet are not visible, you can still attach patch cords to them.

or, if the receive name for the radio is " $0-samplenumber ", then you can just send messages by going
