how can i check in "pix_video" for the brightest pixel.

would like to explore brightness tracking in pd/gem. with processing.org i had very good results.

is it also possible with pd/gem?

try [blob]. I'm not by my pding computer, but I think that should do. set it to alpha tracking, and it will find the center of the brightness 'mass' on your screen, not exactly brightest pixel, but close.
