A piece of code stuck in a drawer for too long.
M2 is similar to my previous mondrian patch, but with some enhancement.

It's basically a "noise generation machine" suited for special FX. Interaction with the patch is with mouse and keyboard. It uses creb, unauthorized (grid > 0.7) and cyclone libraries (if you use PD extended you're ok, just set the correct path to the libraries)

It looks like this:

yeah cool fm noise, great interface.

i'm just a bit stupid cos i read in the pdf that i needed to move the yellow volume slider, and was trying to move the yellow grid at the top. so it took me a few minutes of fiddling round and then re-reading the instructions to figure out what i was doing wrong. a loadbang of about 0.6 on the volume would get people started straight away without the need to even read anything, but maybe that's not your plan - and maybe i complain too much.

very cool though, and all works really well. good to have keyboard interaction too.

It definitely makes sense what you are saying. Main post edited, patch updated.

Hi Alberto.
Very interesting ideas in the musical interaction with the gui.
The sound is good enough & one good point it is not sounds static, always seems it's changing, so is more natural listen. One criticism is that maybe (needs some work in the mapping of the sound synthesis parameters and the GUI parameters)::(in some places is very simple)::(that is not so good because you can recognize the algorithm-code...)

Hi Hummm, actually this Gliko is an executable that one can try without the full MAX environment!
And I have to say that it's really cool!. Thanks for pointing it out.

By the way, as far as I can see, Gliko is a loop machine with 4 parallel samples in which you can load, stretch and
apply effect to samples. Here in PD we have a similar instrument by Hardoff (ma4u, can't find the link
right now but it's here in the forum) that does pressty similar things and, in my opinion, competes
in quality to commercial products. The user interface of Gliko is something we could, more
or less, replicate in PD... Hardoff?
