Hi,
I've tried every combination, cmd-click, ctrl-click, double click but I can't get help on object boxes to work. Can anyone help?
I'm running PD on Ubuntu (Feisty) on an Apple PPC (so no right mouse).
Thanks,
Peter
Object box help on ubuntu
Hi,

are you in edit mode?
the shortcut is ctrl-E or maybe option E or something depending on your system.
oh wait....it's just the help that doesn't work?
then it's probably command+click, but maybe ubuntu doesn't play well with your apple command key (it didn't for me) . in that case maybe go into ubuntu system preferences and change the command key to caps lock or something.
Hi,
Yes, it's just the help that doesn't work.
In my system preferences there is no option to change the command key's settings. Under caps lock for example cmd doesn't show up as an option. It doesn't seem to recognise the fact it's an apple keyboard despite the fact I selected Apple US from the layout menu...
Thanks for your help,
Peter
>Under caps lock for example cmd doesn't show up as an option.<
it would be the other way round. you'd find the command key setting and change it to caps lock.
that's how it worked for me on ubuntu.
just do a google. ubuntu ppc command key
Thanks.

F11 and F12 are middle and right click by default.
