A word to The Weary...if the weight of the world starts to get you down, just step aside for a while and let your mind wander in the Esoteric Regions of PD, what's it's capable of and how it is so Amazing at helping one to visualize ideas. Hopefully it will lift your spirits and get you back in The Game again.

The notion of "whole" numbers has always rankled me. Personally, never, ever really feeling "whole".

The patch below, visualizes this (and I think, coincidentally, does a good job at representing fusion in the domain of the space-time continuum, where mass when "made one" 'explodes', yet in the intermediate state is a wealth of values):

It:

1. between whole numbers can do what one wants it to, since that range is a straight >0,<1 range;
2. yet at the whole numbers (approximately, given pd's slider granularity) it sends a [list-random] [0..127] across [0..127].

p.s. just something to think about. Got me out of bed to write it up. Maybe you can make use of it.
