Im running a motion and colour detection patch using the video to create it's own piece of music. BUt I want to create a sequence so that say at two minutes it only detects for red pixels for example, or at three minutes I want to by-pas some midi sends I have working. That sort of thing. Can any one help pease. I'm not great a building patches, and this is really slowing me sown.

Use a [metro] and counter to generate a timebase and [select] units to fire off events at the times you want.

You could have a bit of fun with this by modifying the algorithm to switch modes based on accumulated events (or a combination of timing and event detection). For example, you could have a variable that simply counts the number of frames in which a certain # of pixels are green (or green enough), multiply it by some increasing value based on the time and when a threshold is reached it switches to a different mode.
